Pancakes

The Wet...

1 TBSN melted unsalted butter

1 cup whole milk

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

 

The Dry...

1 cup all purpose flour (APF) 

1 TBSN baking powder

1 TBSN sugar

1 tsp salt (kosher is best) 

 

Mix it up and you can figure out the rest... it’s pancakes... not rocket science... 

We like to toss in a handful of chocolate chips or blueberries, but you could use Craisins, walnuts, bananas, bacon, brussels sprouts... hey! They’re your pancakes! Who am I to judge? 

Prepare a griddle or skillet and add a little pad of unsalted butter and cook until golden brown and delicious on each side. 

My kids love them with a little “Bam” on top.  also known as powdered sugar...

 

 

 

This will make about 6 smallish pancakes. Enough for two small kids or one hungry one... double it... triple it... it’s easy math...
