Wicked n’ Wood produces and sells delicious barbequed meats, creative sandwiches and small bites, with a fast, friendly, and flavorful experience. Production Cook - Marion, MA (Currently Hiring)
Our well established business is looking to expand our dynamic, welcoming team! We are currently seeking enthusiastic crew members to support our commercial production kitchen, currently located in Marion, MA. Our commercial kitchen supports production for Wicked n’ Wood catering and our food truck, located in E Falmouth, MA, with expansion into restaurant space on the Upper Cape, anticipated for 2027. We are hiring for attitude and aptitude: seeking dependable individuals who may have back of house, prep cook or line cook kitchen experience, and those who are interested in expanding culinary experience, including smoking and production of our delicious barbecued meats. This position is non-customer facing and includes both solitary work as well as regular engagement with our pitmaster/management team.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare Wicked n’ Wood offerings by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients
- Maintain a sanitary kitchen: Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
- Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items
- Assist with receipt of deliveries, confirmation of items ordered, and capture of delivery receipts
- Dish/pot washing as needed
- Identify ongoing opportunities for improvement and streamlining of kitchen execution
- Participate in and/or contribute to projects designed to improve quality of product and creation of new offerings
Requirements:
- Dependability and punctuality are a must
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in ability to safely and effectively operate standard foodservice equipment
- Ability to receive direction and demonstrate adaptability and decision-making skills
- Self-motivated with ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an interest in continual improvement
- Have, or wiling to obtain and maintain, required food safety certification (company paid)
Paid training. Part-time position with scheduling flexibility. Pay commensurate with experience, and ranges from $18-25/hr.

Food Truck Crew Member - E Falmouth, MA (Hiring currently paused 5-2026)
Our well-established food truck in East Falmouth is looking to expand our dynamic, welcoming team. We are currently seeking enthusiastic crew members to serve in the following roles: cashiers, grill cooks, food runners, prep and cleanup personnel. Crew members are expected to execute in all roles. We are hiring for attitude and aptitude: Food service/line cook experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers in person and via phone and enter orders in POS system
- Learn the menu, and assist in preparation of various menu components throughout shift (grill, finishing, expediting)
- Sort and pack orders for takeout or delivery
- Cleanup of stations, particularly utilizing time in between guests to refresh and refill
- Other side work assignments as necessary
Requirements:

- Ability to thrive on a team in a fast paced, fun environment
- Ability to receive direction, and provide guidance to more junior staff (promotion opportunities available)

Paid training. Part-time position (Wed-Sun). Pay commensurate with experience, and ranges from $15-17/hr, plus pooled tips after training period.
